I AM HERE IN KOREA!!!! it is snowing here and it is SUPER cold! :) i heartttt snow.. it is so white... i kept leaving my footprints in the snow and stepping on snow... they are so soft like salt! My friend cannot adapt to the cold now and is suffering a flu~ i made many friends --> korean americans, korean japanese, japanese +++++ everyone seems very friendly and we really need to step out of our comfort zone. saying hi and introducing yourself to strangers is a MUST living in the dorm. there are like tons of strange names i must rem.. which i totally all forgot.
seriously it is not much of a culture shock but it feels quite bad that i don't know how to speak korean. almost 90% of the dorm people can speak korean. Half of them are korean ______ ( put your country there). i feel kind jealous of korean japanese. THEY are my most favourite langauges. My dorm mates besides me is a japanese korean.. and she is really nice. HAHA. She teaches me japanese + korean and i teach her english.
orientation has ended today. Today orientation was a crap. Alot of talk and some eating outside. Met another korean american who is really pretty and another US girl. on thurs, we are going to ski. hehe.
anyway i have really tooooo many pics to show.. i shall separate it into 2 sections. one for hongkong and one for korea and one of beijing( not so soon! )
Day 2 in Hongkong I must say i really love hongkong dimsum! the prawns are so fat and JUICY! href="http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s151/jo-angelx/?action=view¤t=hongkong9.jpg" target="_blank"> more to continue tomorrow.. i am really super sleepy. it is like 2 am now in korean time and i am totally freezing. The bed is really hard and the air outside is like below 0 degrees. The heater in my room don't really help.. >.<
tomorrow we going to tour dong dae mun and buy cosmetics. hehe~
i will remember to buy the famous BB cream from korea.
