i am finally back in singapore..
it has been donkey years since i blogged here...
There has so many reasons why i didn't wan to blog..
Many things happened in seoul.. Happy and unhappy memories as well..

I have learnt so much when i was in seoul..
and i have made so many good friends there.. especially with the japanese girls..
this is a wonderful and memorable trip for me.. sometimes i really wish i am still back in seoul with the girls.. I really miss them so much...
they were always there for me when i need them.. happy or unhappy..
They are so close to my heart.. and i learnt so so much from these girls..
japanese/korean.. many many many... :) i love them so much..

Now in sg, i sometimes wonder what did i do to deserve the unhappy memories?
i was so kind to the person but that person just pushed me away from everything.
Am i so non existent to that person? I don't understand at all. 今全部忘れたい..

No matter what, my heart currently is still in seoul with the girls..
everynight skyping with them.. I really miss them so much! :(

AHHH! it is snowing again in seoul :)
so pretty yet so cold.
the snow flutters are so so big that i think the road will be filled with snow again!
i will definitely miss this scene in singapore
i am totally freezing and at the same time, i am sick.
i was down with a sore throat and terrible menst cramp yday.

korean classes are starting today and i am terribly excited about it! heheh

Sorry everyone!EDITED MY BLOGSKIN ABIT cos i can upload better pictures of clearer quality!

Finally i had the time to upload pictures and write an entry today because i had an off day! previously the past week was filled with parties and going out to explore and skiing as well! so many things to do! i have been having spicy food for the past week and my throat hurts like crazy now.

made more friends this week. I love the japanese people! they are very cute and very polite! :P
Today i had menst cramp and was really feeling like shit. A really nice finland girl called Ulla went to ask around for pandols for me. i was like super touched! they are really nice people!

The lst day :)

My dearest mother actually cooked all my favourite dishes like the red tilipia and the fungus chicken. I had a great meal before leaving for the airport. Leaving the house was really hard because the feeling of carrying 2 suitcases and leaving for korea was really insecure. I didn't know anyone there and i knew i will miss home.

Thanks to all dears who came to the airport to send me off. Especially peggy, baby, jingting, mugmug, yuhui,wenhan and my dearest piggy family. I love you all!!!!! you all are the dearest comfort to me!

Special thanks to peg who gave me the bear and comforting letter. You know, i do place the bear and letter on my desk and do read it like almost everyday :) it really brightens my day to have you.

Dear linz, though you didn't come to send me off due to your flu, it was great to have your message :) i love you!i hope you are feeling much much better now!

Dearest jingting, mugmug, yuhui,wenhan .. I AM LIKE SO SURPRISED you all came! thanks for the nice gift of the whipped potato but it was consficated even before i could eat it :( Thanks so so much!

Leaving on a jet plane..a mixture of emotions fill in me.

Sadness, excitement, love..

Finally.. we left and let me intro you my new roommate :) here is gillian! she comes from NTU and NJC too!

On the plane, i felt even more confused because almost 99.9% are koreans and they kept speaking korean nonstop! it even haunts me when i fell asleep on the plane! i could hear them chanting korean in my dreams. The air stewardesses are pretty though. Oh yes, it was korean air!

After a backaching 6 hours of flight, i finally reached incheon airport at like 6 am in the morning. Korean time is 1 hour later than singapore time and it was 5 am for singapore. It was BURRRRRING freezing outside the airport ( like 1 degree or something) . We took a airport bus 602 to sinchon subway where YONSEI uni was nearby. The bus trip cost me around 20 + dollars.

And when i reached sinchon subway, we stood in the cold for at least 15 mins before a cab came to bring us to YONSEI. Me and gillian couldn't speak korean so the clever cab driver took us for a ride.. ( initial estimation 3000 won and became 6000 won in the end). I MUST SAY that korean cab drivers are scary!!!!! my suitcase was in the boot and the boot cannot be locked and the driver drove SOOOOOO fast and whenever we met a bump on the road, my heart skipped a beat cos my suitcase will like JUMP out of the boot. OMG!!! >.<

In the end, me and gillian decided to stop even before we reached international house(dorm) because the driver drove in circles. We carried the fatty 29 KG suitcase in the FUDGY 1 degree weather and walked up HILLS before we reached the I House. and to our horror and surprise, OUR horror of carrying the suitcase was not the end.. there was no elevator and since we are staying on the 2nd level, we had to DRAG the suitcase up! we ended becoming panting dogs!

Our dorms! :) it was abit squeezy but gillian loved it V much!

We met like 2 japanese girls ( one of them japanese korean).. chitose and momoko. Momoko japanese and korean was super good! she brought us out to do some groceries like buying noodles and washing powder and conversed in tons of korean which i don't understand.

That day was yonsei graduation day as well and everyone was carrying flowers..even the friends. Initally i thought it was Vday or something because EVERYONE was carrying flowers. Then saw those girls with the graduation suit!

The pads in the supermarket is super nice la! :) korean food is very expensive.. and they really have very limited choices. The maggi mee is like 99.9% all spicy.

AND THE BEST PART IS when we came out.. it was SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oh my god, it was freaking pretty. soft soft snow on my face.. but koreans like seems to hate it and everyone was carrying umbrellas. First time seeing snow and i was super duper excited!

I AM HERE IN KOREA!!!!
it is snowing here and it is SUPER cold! :)
i heartttt snow.. it is so white...
i kept leaving my footprints in the snow and stepping on snow...
they are so soft like salt! My friend cannot adapt to the cold now and is suffering a flu~
i made many friends --> korean americans, korean japanese, japanese +++++
everyone seems very friendly and we really need to step out of our comfort zone.
saying hi and introducing yourself to strangers is a MUST living in the dorm.
there are like tons of strange names i must rem.. which i totally all forgot.

seriously it is not much of a culture shock but it feels quite bad that i don't know how to speak korean. almost 90% of the dorm people can speak korean.
Half of them are korean ______ ( put your country there).
i feel kind jealous of korean japanese. THEY are my most favourite langauges.
My dorm mates besides me is a japanese korean.. and she is really nice. HAHA.
She teaches me japanese + korean and i teach her english.

orientation has ended today. Today orientation was a crap.
Alot of talk and some eating outside.
Met another korean american who is really pretty and another US girl.
on thurs, we are going to ski. hehe.

anyway i have really tooooo many pics to show.. i shall separate it into 2 sections.
one for hongkong and one for korea and one of beijing( not so soon! )

OFF TO KOREA.

Finally it is time to leave singapore and start afresh in Korea.
It is 5 hours now to my flight.
I am feeling rather excited but yet ..........
feeling very upset leaving my 21 years old home and my 3.5 years boyfriend back in singapore.
It is a mixture of emotions now.
What can i expect of life in korea?
How can i communicate with the locals there?
Can i adapt to the weather there?
Can i still stay awake during those drowning moments?

It is freezing there now. Currently it is 1 degree there.
Coming back from Hongkong last night,i suddenly missed home alot.
Missed my mom's homecooked food, my friends, girls' outings and maybe ever boring NBS,
my dear sister, my dearest bed..
i am leaving with quite a heavy heart.
Really frightened to be in a land in which i don't understand their language at all.

I am really blur on my directions to go. Even housing is not settled there yet.
It really test my survival skills and blabbering skills.

It is a challenge and an exposure.
Give me STRENGTH EVERYONE!!!!

First day in hongkong

Food in hongkong is damn exp la! :X everywhere even the cha chan ting is like 5 to 6 bucks!

I spent a BOMB on eating..

First day was spent with me arriving with super dark eye bags and painful eyes.

No choice but to wear specs! so ugly.

we arrived at 2 pm and spent like half the day exploring and became lost like a lamb.

TSIM SHA TSUI AND MONGKOK was our first stop....

oh shit.

Wanted blog more but i am rushing to eat my dinner before i leave at 8 for my flight!!

i hate MEETUPS. really hate it.
it causes so much conflicts and both parties to be v unhappy.
Some people just don't understand i DON'T do meetups at all.
it is ultra not convenient for me and it was clearly stated before every deal.
But some tries to push their luck and pushes fault on me cos i can't meetup.
and tries their luck further by dragging their collection for 3 weeks.
even request me to put in my place for a few months until i come back from korea.

and when i reject their requests, it became MY fault
when in the first place, i gave so many extensions and exceptions for collection already.
If they dunno how to get there.. then don't opt for self collection. ( i gave directions somemore!! )
"cannot make it" becomes a common excuse and a strong reason to push me to meet up with them at their convenience
And most amazing of all, their fault for not turning up becomes my fault for not giving them MORE time.
3 weeks but never could find time to self collect.
and now i become the most guilty person of all for not giving them more time( in terms of MONTHS).
"i tot you were a good seller as mentioned by others" became a tool to threaten me to abide to their requests.

i am super iritated and pissed.
seriously, i feel that i am being BULLIED here.
feel damn WEI QU man.

it is just NOT my day.

it was the girls dinner out night! :) it was a farewell dinner for our girls before i leave for korea ..

then he started talking to us and i was quite freaked out..

making a excuse of going to toilet, we abandoned him and tot that was the end to our horrrors......

THEN!!! came a stupid and pervetic guy called alvin!

being the streetsmart lin and me and fei, we ignored him again and poor peg was there to handle him!

this guy ah MUST be the expert of jioing girls at club..

he started holding peg waists and held her hand and peg felt super uncomfortable

she tried super hard to wriggle out of his grab and we even PULLED her to us.

and that guy was like PULLED her back. >.<

peg told me he asked her if she wanted dance and she didn't reply..

so he took it as a yes and started "dancing" ( in real terms") molesting peg.

peg being a super POOR thing started mouthing for help!!!!!

we helped by pulling her but to no avail...

in the end.. peg did the bravest thing by saying " sorryi dunwan to dance with you"

and the fudgy ugly guy walked off. MUAHAHHAHHHA.

after dancing abt 50 mins later.. the guy saw us again... and .......

HE TURNED AWAY!!! MUAHHAHAHA . super HUMJI! hahahahhahaha.

seriously, i really admire peg for rejecting the guy even without any clubbing experience..

even i also dun dare to save her !! * claps*

but everytime when i think about her terrified expression.... i feel like laughing!

poor pegpeg was so scared that she swore off clubbing the next time!

we visited cixi palace.. climbed the wan li chang chen , toured many palaces, saw snow,

OMG. it is a FUDGY DISASTER!!!!!!
10000000 pairs of shoes are being squeezed like TOFU in the tiny shoerack.
behind the first layer of shoes as seen on pic, behind them is another layer of say 100 pairs of shoes in 40 shoeboxes
in within the shoeboxes contains dad, mom, sispig, MY shoes.
so it is always guessing game whenever i open one shoe box then jump to another.
in another corner, lies a sleeping ground with shoes alone and counting lies 10 pairs at least.
they are constantly stomped over by my family and resembles pratas very much.

there is really NO place to stand at all to look for shoes and i have to bend over to look at them
i can't stand 1 min looking at the shoes at all
because i will spend more than 100000000 mins just to find out one pair of shoes.
WHERE ARE MY BOOTS!!!MY C&K HEELS?!

i am biting my nails, pulling my hair over the disgusting shoe rack.
all sorts of vulgarities)*$&)$&*&!* come out of my mouth while searching for my shoes.

i think i am quite slow but i still love this song!

sometimes i will think of the past and think about him.
Even though i hated him, but sometimes i think it was love.
so much efforts,tears,heartbreaking moments was spent.

Anyway, i am on a quite long hiatus!
preparing winter wear to go to beijing in a few weeks time!
suddenly the time seems to move so fast!
in 2 weeks time, i will be flying around asia~

yday dad scared us out when he suddenly vomited like more than 10 times.
initially he thought it was gastric and bore with the pain.
in the end, it became FOOD poisoning:(
it turned out that he ate nasi lemak that is left for a while that is bought by his boss.
He did it to save on food money.
Now think of it, dad is trying so hard to save hard-earned money
yet i waste money like no one business.
i think i really need to think about how i control my finances.

Thank you to all friends who asked, who cared during the last days of my grandma funeral
she is gone before the day mc king was cremated.
I have placed her in my heart already and have found peace.
I will be bringing her picture with me to korea.
thanks dearies :) it is time to move on for me and my ahma..

speaking of so, me and gilliann have booked and paid the ticket to korea.
Flying on the 24th Feb 11 PM to korea via korea air :)

and the best thing is : i still haven't learn a single word of korean.
BAHH. sometimes i wonder why i am going to korea for exchange..
there are so many things to be done : FYP , PA, VISA, confirmation of modules, $$$$$ matters,
and not forgetting talking to a bunch of people who don't uds you.
i heard korea sell lots of weird food though like what cow's balls or something like tt.
this kinda spoils my appetite when i think about korean food.

i am still at the funeral though.
at times, i do feel that my grandma has not left me.
i still remember clearly her voice and the way she called me.
i still remember her facial expressions.
i still rem how she always call me by "manman"
it seems as though the memory is still so fresh
it seems as though she has not left at all.
it seems as though it was just yesterday she talked to me.

i still remember her clearly. still very clearly. and it hurts.
i miss her so much. :(
she looks so different lying inside.
my heart broke when i heard that she passed away with breathing difficulties
i shed much tears when i saw her frowning made up face in the coffin.

no one expected her to go so early.
she could even talk when i visited her a while ago and a few days later, she was gone.
now i really learn that life is short.
treasure people around you before they are gone..

Kbox outing with my dearest cheerleading mates!

Before the start of the NEW YEAR, let me bombast everyone with pics from the kbox outing! :P
the 2 CHS were there --> chong han and chin hao ( my baby! )
quite shocked that hanhan wanted to come since his dearest YS and YT were missing!
great time for him and *** to date thou :P

Baby was stoning like most of the time. he didn't know how to sing 99% of the songs.
so we forced him to sing JAY chou instead! :P
me and baby were kinda forced to sing lover duets 50% of the time
with me singing everything of the duet while baby goes "ahh.. eee.. woo" the whole song.

Kinda super HIGH. We had a great time JUMPING to MAYDAY high songs.
We were practically jumping on the seats .. screaming with our vocals ..
people passing by must be thinking we were lunatics!

haha i had a shock when entering this party venue.

that cost a bomb of 150 bucks!!
Mom was like haggling with every store non stop!!
me and baby bought 2 badminton rackets --> super yeah la!!

my grandma is dying of cancer. :( i visited her that day..
and she was in so much pain that she deillusioned that she didn't eat the medicine.
she couldn't open one of her eyes and her other eye was half open.
she talked nothing except hospital stuff and she was quite breathless while talking.
It is quite heartbreaking.
doc says she can't make it very soon le..

i feel really very sad when..
there won't be any new year dinners with her anymore
there will be no more big prawn dishes by her anymore
i won't get to eat the dishes cooked by her anymore
i won't get to call her grandma anymore
i won't get to see her anymore
i won't get to hold her wrinkled hand anymore
i won't get to hear her voice anymore.
that she will only be in my memories forever.

for visiting so little during the year.

Heading to BUGIS for some steamboat! hehe.
wasn't peg and dear HJ such fun? we were total camwhores!
even baby enjoyed himself throughout! :P

PS: tian tian huoguo is super expensive though.
1+ hour in there cost us about 25 each and the food range is quite small.
but i wun miss a chance to go out with my mates!

BA. i was super mad with him today

He unoffically announced a 2 day cold war with me on thursday night.

it started with a small "fire" inside me.

we had a small conflict.. no.. quarrel.. no.. disagreement on thursday night

which led me to slamming of the phone.

He did not call me nor sms me back.

2 mins later, i smsed him and 2 hours later he replied

i was already too pissed with the wait to reply.

Friday came.

No sms nor visits.

his promise to bring me something was also broken.

My FIRE grew slower as the time began to tick by

i was v sure if he said something nice, my fire will be distingushed.

but he didn't.

Saturday came.

i smsed him to ask him if he was coming

No reply and i began super irritated and disappointed with him

i started reflecting on our relationship

3 fatty years and he still didn't understand me nor wad i wan.

i started thinking of the worst and my insecurity became the better of me

I had already prepared the WORST case scenario

and was even prepared to say the B word if the cold war ensues

sorry to say but i absolutely detest cold wars.

if a guy cannot put down his pride for you, i don't think there is much future.

BUT finally at 8 pm TODAY (SAT),

my fire died down.

guess what he did?

he bought me the stall 73 ( look at my last post) oyster omelette with personal delivery to my place.

That melted my heart!

AHH! i have been so busy after uni started that my blog has started to grow weeds everywhere :(

the korea exchange program is driving me crazy because of the application for transcript.. for tutor recommendation letter .. for personal statement on your study plan.. for the online application and even for insurance plan! in just 3 days i have to churn out all these!!

ab214 is driving me crazy as well with the stupid report and presentation. :(

to add on to my misery, my boi and i have a minor quarrel AGAIN!! i was in a serious PMS mood and he sadly was in ARMY that time. BOO. Poor him. i feel bad again.

GUYS!! PLEASE WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYES BEFORE you determine CHIOBUS = GOOD GIRLS. CHIOBUS IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO GOOD GIRLS but GOOD GIRLS CAN BE CHIOBUS. Sometimes i cannot understand why people are so mean to each other. For money, everyone just turn their backs on each other? A one year relationship is just gone within a few secs ?! sorry, for me, give me 1 million bucks, i still will never sell my pegpeg away.

i feel for my friend. seriously feel. I feel as much hatred as much irritatedness as much sadness as though i am the poor victim ( my friend ). The worst feeling on earth is to be betrayed by our friends. The good friend that you thought will share all your troubles is actually the one who will stab you the most.

i had 2 crazy bday parties over the week. MY sister and MY good friend feifei had their beloved bday last week and i was kindly invited!!

SISTER BDAY BBQ PARTY

My beloved sister is 18 this year! to celebrate, she had a BBQ party at xinhui's place :) i was just an extra to bring her the BBQ.

I wore this to her party that day. HAHAH . pardon my pregnant look again + messy room.

To end on a sad note, one of my friends is in drastic situation. Being stabbed and betrayed by one own friend is the saddest thing in the world. Having experienced that once.. no.. twice, i can really understand how she feels. Now i can safely claim that most pretty girls are poisonous snakes.

ps: one of my other guy friend is still under the charm of a female snake. wonder if he will snap out of it. haix.

MISS PMS

it was my PMS day yesterday. I was so busy with my own emails ( 100 of them!! YES! :( ) and with forensics test and ab214 test that my face was practically a FROWN the whole night. poor baby called and suffered the BRUNT of my pms. I practically ticked him off for wasting my sundays and making me so chiong during the weekdays.

AND i realised that it was 19/7, our 3rd year 2 months ANN!!!!! He smsed me " sorry for disturbing just now. Just wanted to wish you a happy 3rd year and 2 month ann! ....." omg i nearly wanted to kill myself at the instant cos i totally forgot about my ann, 2ndly i ticked him off for something that he is not at fault!!

Sorry baby. My fault. So so sorry!

Speaking of our dear forensics quiz , i tot the questions will be rather chicken. BUT hehe, NO MAN. It was a TERROR, HORROR, MORROR... (wadever words you can put ) . and everyone was practically COPYING. UP copied BOTTOM row. BOTTOM row asking BOTTOM BOTTOM row. Some even took their notes to see (teehee >.<) and most of the girls were discussing it OUT loud.

So MY version of this beautiful planned killing was the killer was quarrelling and struggling with the victim and the victim scratched the killer and then out of anger, the killer used the ASHTRAY and knocked her head. Shocked, the victim ran (causing a trail of blood) and finally the victim was koked down alive with the powerful ashtray and was dead in a pool of blood. WOAH like CSI.

i am waking up at 6.30 AM tomorrow. What am i still doing here?! Ms forgetful has just unintentionally/not on purpose/ accidentally "ponned" the consumer research experiment and the dear teacher was so worried that he called me on my HP 3 times to remind me of the experiment.

i wish everything was back to normal.
Everytime i see you, i still wish we are back to the happy times.

BAA!Finally got down to set up a new blog. weee. That was like FINALLY after dunno how many donkey years of still writing.

These few days has been crazyness. Miss pimples has been popping in quite often to look at my face. I am now officially down with hornets pimples. :( Anyone can recommend me good pimple cream? Miss pimples do need to take a rest after disturbing me for 3 weeks! )

Crazyness Crazyness Crazyness. I wonder how some marketing students can stand it man. Everyday sleep only 3 to 4 hours and have to wake up looking as if you have slept for 12 hours.

Anyway , i got into KOREA for instep exchange program. This means i will go to KOREA YONSEI UNIVERSITY for 4 months! Initally, i was quite disappointed because i had applied for Japan instead and got into Korea. BUT BUT BUT, i realised that yonsei was one of the top universities in Korea and the school culture was great!!

Friday is the deadline for me to accept the Korea exchange program. Actually 99% of me wants to go but i am so worried about cost.. about adaptation.. about missing everyone here. :( I will definitely miss my dearest peg and my bed.. my LINZ , my MAO, my Fatty family and so much more!

Anyway, weiling has been telling me 1000X times that my japanese sucks. So here i am trying to brush it up :P Peg can learn by the way!!

(translation: japanese is so hard. However, cos i like japanese, i am still studying in Level 3 Jap classes. Jiayou! )
